Huawei to Conduct an Event on May 15 in London
Honor has started sending media invites for a launch event happening on May 15 in London. TechRadar reported they had received the invite and posted a GIF.
Going by the invite, the noteworthy feature of Honor 10 (if that’s what the name) will be the camera. From the last few smartphones, they have emphasized the cameras. We have covered Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro here, which is one of the first two devices from the company to come with AI-powered cameras.
The event invite poster doesn’t hint at having a notch. So, we think they won’t go the Apple-way.
We have got no confirmed details about the specifications yet. In case, Honor 10 makes its way to India, it will sit alongside View 10. Launched at Rs. 29999, Honor View 10 is a sturdy offering with Kirin 970, 6 GB RAM, and 128 GB storage.
The dual camera setup on View 10 features f/1.8 aperture 16-megapixel RGB lens paired with a 20-megapixel monochrome lens. Everything about Honor 10 is just speculations now. The name firstly surfaced on the web via Weibo. According to the listing, it has a 5.7-inch display with Kirin 970 processor. The social network post also predicted the release by the mid-year.
Although everything seems to have hidden behind fog, we need to bear in mind that the Weibo listing did predict the P20 and P20 Pro release.
It hasn’t been so long since Huawei launched their P20 series. To recall, they have released two versions dubbed as P20 and P20 Pro. When it comes to the specifications, the P20 Pro sports a 6.1-inch display with full HD+ resolution. Underneath the hood, it sports HiSilicon Kirin 970 coupled with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage.
The main highlight of the device is the triple camera setup found on the back. It features a 40 MP, 20 MP, and 8 MP sensors. You might have already read or seen the camera reviews.
You have to wait until May 15 to know the exact details and pricing of the device. We will keep you updated once it hits the market.
