In India, the sub 20K segment has been becoming competitive every day. Realme X came out on 15/07/2019 added momentum to it. Although gadget enthusiasts are a bit disappointed in the company going with Snapdragon 710 rather than 730, the phone will give a neck to neck competition to the existing offerings.
We know Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei also has their eyes on the sub 20K segment. They already have Honor 8X in the market. With the new turn of events, they are working to bring 9X into the limelight.
Honor 9X and 9X Pro Full Specifications Tipped by TENAA Listing
The reports have surfaced on the web hinting at the launch of the new Huawei phones. Going by them, we could know the event will happen on July 23. While the mainstream social networks remain unaware of the launch, the company posted an official image on Weibo. The picture features a triple rear camera setup.
The Chinese regular TENAA helped us uncover the full specifications of the device as well. The phone features a 6.59-inch full HD+ display (1080x 2340) with 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
When it comes to the optics, you now know of the triple rear camera setup. Possibly, they will use a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel rear camera unit. We don’t know whether or not it features any special sensor (telephoto or wide-angle). Given the era of popup cameras, Huawei can’t overlook featuring one on the Pro version. The regular variant will possibly have a 20 MP selfie camera.
One of the major selling points of devices under 20K price bracket is the battery capacity. We expect both the devices to pack at least 4000 mAh battery. The RAM and internal storage can be up to 8 GB and 256 GB respectively. You may get storage expansion via SD cards.
The chipset is still a misery. Rumour is that 9 series is going to be the first to have Kirin 810 under the hood.
To recall, Honor 8X sports 6.5-inches full HD+ IPS LCD display. It comes in 4 GB/ 6GB RAM variants and 64 GB/128 GB internal storage. Using the dedicated SD card slot, you can expand the storage up to 400 GB.
The rear dual-camera setup sports a 20 MP sensor with another 2 MP one to sense depth. Selfie camera measures 20 MP in resolution. Under the hood, 8X packs in Kirin 710 chipset.
We have to wait until July 23 to know the upgrades Huawei (specifically Honor) sent their eyes to.
