Google has finally taken its wraps off the Pixel 3a series at I/O 2019. With the Pixel 3a series, Google has launched its first mid-range smartphones in the Pixel series. Prior to this, we associated Google’s Pixel series with just flagship smartphones. But with the declining sales of smartphones globally, Google has decided to boost sales of its Pixel smartphones.

Pixel 3a is also available now in India along with its US launch. Google also revealed the pricing of Pixel 3a and 3a XL in India. In the US, Pixel 3a is available for $399 whereas Pixel 3a XL is available at $479. However, Pixel 3a in India starts at Rs. 39,999 and Pixel 3a XL is priced at Rs. 44,999.

Google unveils its Pixel 3a series at I/O 2019 with Snapdragon 670 and Pixel 3’s camera

The most fascinating aspect of the Pixel 3a series is that Google has bundled the same camera in this device as its Pixel 3. Now, you might already be aware that Pixel 3 is arguably the best smartphone camera in the market right now.

Interestingly, Google does this with just a single camera on Pixel 3 and Pixel 3a series. Google also reveals that its camera magic is a combination of hardware and software optimization.

There is an 8MP camera on the front for selfies. Same as the Pixel 3, you get Night Sight, Top Shot, Portrait Mode, Super res zoom, Auto-focus and HDR+ features on this phone.

Pixel 3a’s pricing in India is almost $200 more than its price in the US. As the Pixel 3a starts at $399 in the United States and goes up to $479 for the Pixel 3a XL.
