Very intelligent move from Google again. It keeps moving forward and bringing updates more frequently. With the release of Android Lollipop, it started rolling Android 5.0 update to mobiles. Google started following material design and recently it applied same to Gmail app and in next update, giant Google is adding Yahoo and Outlook email accounts support within the Gmail application

Gmail 5.0 brings yahoo and outlook support

This is really an useful update for the people who are using multiple email accounts. It seems Google want to make the people use their products only. Android Police has an early access to Gmail 5.0 and they discovered this multiple email support.

Here is a video showing the new design and how these Yahoo and Outlook accounts work in same application.

Video clearly shows the fresh new look of material design with rounded images, new compose button and lots more. You can switch between your email accounts just by swiping left and right.

Still there is no data about the update date and whether it is available for web browsers. Android Police decided not to share the updated app to public unless it is released officially. Many other apps are being updated to add fresh and updated feel to the Android 5.0 Lollipop. Many are waiting for Lollipop update and it is expected to reach the non Nexus users by the end of this year.

Did you like the new material design and the cool idea of Google adding multiple email account support? Seems bad news for Yahoo and Microsoft as people will now stop using their mobile apps. Let’s see, will they respond with similar kind of update? Let us know you views.
