Samsung has released their second flagship of the year, Galaxy Note 8, about a week ago. The company was striving hard to regain their brand image, which they sacrificed due to the notorious Note 7 fiasco.
Even if the global launch event happened, they didn’t release the smartphone in India. Now that the official confirmation came out, we know they will be launching the device in India on September 12.
Samsung to Launch Note 8 in India on September 12
Galaxy Note 8 is probably the most anticipated smartphone of 2017. The company faced the loss of both money and reputation from the Note 7 menace happened last year. They had to recall all the units to at least prevent more blasting units make it to the news.
Note 8 packs in some sturdy specifications both underneath and over the hood. It has a 6.3-inch FullVision QHD display. Even though some of the renowned manufacturers ditched 3.5-mm audio jack on their flagships, Samsung didn’t take such a path. Beneath the hood, Note 8 sports a Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 SoC coupled with 6 GB of RAM. We will also get 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage, which can further be expanded up to 256 GB using an external SD card.
The identity of Note lineup is the stylus. Note 8 also got a stylus, this time with some impeccable features. You can scribble memos even when the screen is turned off.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is the first ever smartphone to come up with optical image stabilization on both the sensors (12 MP each) on the dual rear camera setup. One of the two lenses offers 2X optical zooming. On the front, the device sports an 8 MP shooter for selfies.
Note 8 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and can be updated to Oreo later this year. Moreover, it has a 3000 mAh battery as well.
The India launch of the smartphone is scheduled to happen in Delhi at 12:30 PM (Indian Standard Time). The interesting fact is Apple will most probably unveil their iPhone 8 globally on the same date.
Samsung already started sending invites for the Note 8 India launch. You already read there are multiple variants available for Note 8. And, they didn’t specify which one would enter the Indian market. We hope they will bring both 64 GB and 128 GB variants.
