We all know Dell as one of the most popular laptop manufacturers around the world. Last month, they have unveiled the new XPS 13 laptop in Consumer Electronics Show. We had no clue about when it’s going to hit the Indian market.
The company has launched the laptop in India yesterday (07-02-2018). According to the manufacturer claims, Dell XPS 13 is the world’s smallest 13-inch laptop ever released.
Dell XPS 13 Launched in India; Specs and Price
In the consumer electronics show, the company has wooed the audience with the glorious looking XPS 13 laptops. They want to take over the Indian market with the three variants of the same device.
The first thing you notice about it is the smaller form factor (with 1.22 kg weight and 3.4-mm thickness). As the name indicates, all the three variants sport a 13-inch display, the resolution of which differs from each other, though.
As we dig down to the detailed specifications, the basic variant comes with a full HD display and packs in 8th generation Intel Core i5-8250 quad-core processor. Moreover, it has an 8 GB LPDDR3 RAM underneath the hood coupled with a 256 GB PCle SSD storage
When it comes to the middle variant, you will have the same display along with an 8th generation Intel Core i7-8550 processor. You will also get 16 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 512 GB PCIe SSD.
The high-end variant, on the other hand, flaunts an Ultra HD display with the same under-the-hood specs as that of the middle variant. The Infinity Edge screen of the device gives it a premium touch.
All the three variants have pre-installed Windows 10 Home with Office Home and Student 2016. And, it also boasts 19-hour battery life for the low-end variant with 52 Whr battery capacity, password-free login with Windows 10 Hello and an Infrared camera.
Gore Thermal Insulation is a new feature to help the laptop cool down during intensive tasks. Dell XPS 13 is the first device from the company to include this feature. It also has Dell Cinema to bring an immersive cinematic experience to the platform.
Reading all the features given above, you might have already anticipated that XPS 13 is not a typical Dell laptop. It goes into the premium range with a price of Rs. 94700 for the basic version. You will have to shell out Rs. 141490 for the full HD, i7 variant, and Rs. 159790 for the most premium one.
