Asus Launches new gaming laptops in the ROG Strix and TUF series in India

The Taiwanese manufacturer Asus has updated its gaming laptop lineup of ROG and TUF series; with the launch of new laptops. These refreshments to the lineup of gaming series from Asus include; the latest 12th Gen Intel Core H-series processors and the AMD Ryzen 6000 series mobile chipsets in India. The launch features ROG Strix Scar 15 and 17, ROG Strix G15, G17;  Asus TUF F15, F17and TUF A15, A17.

The ROG Strix Scar edition of gaming laptops comes as the high-end variants from Asus featuring; Intel Core i9-12900H CPU, up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GPU with MUX Switch, and DDR5 RAM technology.

The laptops arriving with the powerful chipset require a cooling management system, and Asus has fulfilled the requirement with the new fans and liquid metal cooling upgrades to manage the temperature.

The MUX Switch on both laptops will help in reducing the latency to make the graphics-intensive gaming and streaming experience much smoother. The display on the Strix Scar laptops comes with a Quad-HD 240Hz display; that supports Dolby Vision HDR and Adaptive Sync.

The keyboard provided on these laptops comes with customizable Armour Caps and RGB lighting, completing the gaming look. Moreover, the battery on the laptops gets charged up to 50 percent in just 30 minutes; with a 280W power adapter.

Under the hood, the Strix G15 and G17 gaming laptops come with the AMD Rembrandt R9-6900HX CPU coupled with up to Nvidia RTX 3070Ti GPU. Besides, the folks at Asus have designed these duos in such a way that every gamer can feel very accessible with the laptops.

Furthermore, the Strix G15 and G17 models just like the Scar series feature the ROG intelligent cooling aid and the MUX Switch. Moreover, the laptops on the media front arrive with two Smart Amp technology-equipped speakers; for a rich audio experience and crisp bass.

Furthermore, the battery on the Strix G series comes with the support of a PD technology charger that fills the battery up to 50% in 30 minutes.

ROG TUF A15, F15 and A17, F17

Asus TUF

The TUF series comprising A15,17 come with AMD’s Ryzen 7 6800H CPU and up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU. Whereas, the F15 and F17 models get powered by the 12th-Gen Intel Core i7-12700H CPU; up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU, and MUX switch.

These new laptops in the TUF series flaunt a military-grade durable design along with a large touchpad with anime-inspired accents and four-way indicators; to allow at a glance monitoring of key system information. Besides, the display supports up to 300Hz refresh rate and the battery on these laptops includes a 90Whr cell.

Price and Availability

The Scar edition of laptops in the ROG series starts at Rs. Rs 2,64,990 and goes up to Rs. 2,59,990 for the high-storage model. Whereas, the ROG Strix G15 and Strix G17 are priced at starting Rs 1,06,990 and 1,02,990, respectively.

The Asus TUF F15 and ASUS TUF F17 cost Rs 1,14,990 and will sell at a high price point of Rs. 1,35,990. Both TUF A15 and TUF A17 come with a similar starting price tag of Rs 1,09,990.

The Asus ROG Strix Scar, TUF F-series and ROG Strix laptops have already gone for sale and the TUF A-series will officially go on sale from the third week of April. Moreover, the laptops will be available to purchase on Amazon, Asus Official Stores, and other authorized retail stores in India.
