2024 is probably the year dedicated to the growth of Artificial Intelligence. Many Android OEMs also integrated AI into their software. For example, Samsung introduced many AI-based features for its One UI, followed by OnePlus and other manufacturers. The Cupertino tech-giant Apple is also reportedly planning to integrate OpenAI’s ChatGPT into its operating system, iOS.
Apple iOS will soon have integration of ChatGPT
It’s been reported that Apple was in talks with multiple brands concerning integrating their AI module into iOS. The brand contacted Google for its Gemini and OpenAI for its ChatGPT. But now, it seems that the deal is in its final stage. Apple is very close to finalizing the deal with OpenAI regarding its integration into the iOS platform.
So yeah, we can finally say that we are not too far from experiencing the AI features on iOS. The implementation of AI into iOS will be in line with the company’s strict and robust policy. We are very excited to test the all-new iOS where we will be able to use AI features.
We are expecting it to be very much like how the AI works in OneUI and other smartphone user interfaces. However, Apple loves to make things standalone so a completely new approach won’t be totally unexpected either.
What to expect from this integration?
There’s no specific information revealed yet on what is coming and what would be the results of this integration. ChatGPT, for reference, is very powerful at doing text-based conversations, reading and researching through files, generating images and modifying them, and a lot more. Maybe we can expect something related to this, such as smart replies to your text conversations where AI will be able to read and frame an appropriate reply for you.
We can also expect something like AI-based image erase which would be much more advanced compared to what we have now. Something similar can also be spotted on OnePlus and Samsung flagship devices. Well, the exact details about how the features are going to work will be only known once the integration is done and the features are fully rolled out.
