Apple iPhone 12 Launch With XDR Display, MagSafe Wireless Charging, 5G Starts At Rs 69,900

The most awaited smartphone of the year Apple iPhone 12 series is now official. Apple has launched the 12 series in a virtual event, where the company introduced its new iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone Max Pro, and the Apple HomePod mini.

The 12 series comes with some major upgrades in specifications and design likes every year. It has a stainless steel design with multiple color options, Super Retina XDR display, Ceramic Shield, A14 Bionic Chip, 5G connectivity, and much more.

iPhone 12 and 12 mini

For the first time, the technology giant has introduced a smaller variant of the regular iPhone. It has the same specs apart from the smaller 5.42-inches OLED Display. Whereas, the iPhone 12 has a 6.06-inches OLED display.

In the optics department, both phones have a dual 12 MP camera, that includes a Primary 12 MP Wide camera with f/1.6 aperture and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). Accompanied by another 12 MP Ultra-wide camera with f/2.4 aperture.

For selfies, ith has a 12 MP shooter with an f/2.4 aperture.

iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max

Like the regular iPhone 12, the 12 Pro has a 6.06-inch OLED display with a higher 800 nits higher peak brightness.

In terms of camera, the Pro and Pro Max has a triple camera setup at the back. It has a 12 MP Primary camera with f/1.6 and a Sensor-shift OIS followed by a 12 MP Telephoto lens with f/2.2, 2.5x optical zoom and has OIS and another 12MP Ultra-wide lens with f/2.2.

Moreover, the Pro series has a LiDAR sensor. This allows users to have a much faster AR experience, and improved depth perception.

The Pro variant also gets support for the HDR video recording and even Dolby Vision HDR.

Under the hood, the 12 series are powered by the A14 Bionic Chip, which Apple says enables “console-quality gaming”. Apple also announced that League of Legends: Wild Rift is coming to the iPhone later this year.

All four variants of the are 5G ready smartphone, have an IP68 rating, and support the new MagSafe Wireless Charging up to 15W.

Price and Availability

The prices of the iPhone 12 start from Rs 69,900 and go all way up to Rs 1,59,000.

Starting from the iPhone 12 mini, Rs 69,900 for the 64GB variant, Rs 74,000 for the 128GB and Rs 84,000 for the 256GB.

While the iPhone 12 starts from Rs 79,900 for the 64GB, Rs 84,000 for the 128GB and Rs 94,900 for the 256GB variant.

The iPhone 12 Pro variant starts from Rs 1,19,900 for 128GB, Rs 1,29,000 for 256GB and Rs 1,49,900 for the 512GB.

Lately, the iPhone 12 Pro Max starts from Rs 1,29,900 for the 128GB, Rs, 1,39,900 for 256GB and Rs 1,59,900 for the 512GB variant.
