Now, Amazon India is making the deal sweeter for its customers below the age of 24. In its “Youth Offer”, Amazon is giving Rs. 500 as cashback on purchasing Prime subscription.
Amazon Prime “Youth Offer” gives Prime Subscription at half its original price
With “Youth Offer”, you can purchase Amazon Prime subscription for an effective price of Rs. 499 if you are aged between 18 and 24.
However, there is a small catch in this offer from Amazon. This offer can be availed by you only on the Amazon app available for iOS and Android and not on its website.
With this offer, Amazon wants the youth of India to not only subscribe to its Prime membership but also download its mobile app. Normally, the Amazon Prime membership will cost you Rs. 999 and give you access for one year. Similarly, you will still have to pay Rs. 999 while purchasing your membership but you will Rs. 500 cashback.
This means you effectively pay only half the price. But before you get the cashback, you will have to verify your age by doing KYC (Know your customer). For this, you can provide any of your legal identity documents such as Aadhar Card, Pan Card, License, etc.
Also, the cashback that you get will be available as Amazon Pay Balance. Therefore, you can purchase any products from Amazon or its partners with that balance in your wallet.
Amazon India says that the cashback will reach your account within 10 days once you verify your age.
Once you get the Amazon Prime membership, you will get unlimited free fast delivery. You will also get a 1-year membership to Prime Video and Prime Music services. On top of that, you can also get exclusive benefits from the upcoming Amazon Prime Day sale which starts from 15th July and ends on 16th July exclusively for Prime members.
