Dell has launched two of their latest gaming laptops in India, dubbed Alienware x15 R2 and Alienware x17 R2. The brand has announced these new laptops for the first time at the CES 2022 in Barcelona, Spain.
This duo of laptops from Alienware is considered the thinnest 15-inch and 17-inch gaming laptops. Moreover, the laptops feature Thermal Control Circuit and Quad-Fan design; which helps in lowering the heat and providing the most performance.
The x15 R2 and x17 R2 laptops arrive with the Intel 12th chips, Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs, which are an upgrade from the predecessors. The laptops come with the Alienware Cryo-Tech cooling technology that improves up to 24% of thermal management. The Alienware x15 R2 sports a 15.6-inch display available in three different variants — full-HD 165Hz, full-HD 360Hz, and QHD 240Hz options that support G-Sync. Under the hood, a 12th-generation Intel Core i7-12700H or Core i9-12900H processor; along with Intel Xe graphics coupled with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
Additionally, the laptop features up to Nvidia GeForce RTX3080Ti graphics with 16 GB of GDDR6 dedicated memory.
The Alienware 15 R2 comes with an HD webcam with dual-array microphones and supports Windows Hello IR. The laptop features stereo speakers and stereo tweeters. The battery capacity of the x15 R2 is a six-cell 87Whr cell that supports ExpressCharge Boost fast charging support and the laptop runs on Windows 11 Home.
