AI, without a doubt, is growing at a rapid pace. The time is getting crazier as most industries are witnessing a new revolution because of AI. Many new different AI-powered chatbots and tools are being launched every day. And now, Adobe has launched its new generative AI-based tool to help music industry creators generate and refine audio. This is a new tool that the brand aims to further optimise and increase its reliability in the coming days.
What is the new “Text-to-Music” generative AI tool by Adobe?
As the name implies, it’s a new AI-based tool that aims to assist the creators in music editing and refining. This tool can generate music based on a single text prompt which can be used in the background of any song or to give it a mesmerising effect. Adobe has been known for its consistent support towards human-made content and now it seems that they are also jumping into the world of Artificial intelligence.
However, as per the brand, this AI tool is solely meant to complement the productivity and performance of the content creators. This tool is a part of Abode’s new AI-focused project termed “Project Music GenAI” control.
With this tool, you can enter text into a text field and the model will produce music. Adobe provided a few instances of text prompts that could be entered, such as “powerful rock,” “sad Jazz,” or “happy dance,” and the program would produce music in response.
Adobe has partnered with some of the best educational and research institutes like the University of California, San Deigo and School for Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University to create his new generative AI tool and to optimise it.
Well, the tool does sound interesting and we are excited to see how it would work in real life and whether it would be able to generate realistic audio or not. The project is still in the process of fine-tuning and not everyone can access it for now.
But we are pretty sure that it won’t take them a long time to do a full commercial release. The brand further claims that the interface of this tool would allow the user to edit and remix the song according to their liking.
This statement in itself is very bold and further sparks our excitement to test out the tool and check out how well it goes. No doubt it would improve a lot in the future but what has to be seen is that how it would compete against the human content.
